Port St Johns is the commercial centre for the region and on a busy day is a bustling and crowded place. There are enough service providers and shops to satisfy a traveller’s needs. One just has to walk round the town to realise the historic heritage of the buildings in the town. Many of the buildings are close to a century old and there are many juxtapositions of old and new which are fascinating.
